Landlord Photography was created by Paul Darvell, an experienced Photographer and Property Investor/Landlord. Paul created this business as he saw a massive opportunity to provide a much needed service to the Property community.
Any property professional is likely to tell you how much more competition they are facing now compared to any other time. The sector has responded to this by upping its game. It isn’t that long ago that photos of a stained mattress would get properties rented. With so much competition for tenants landlords are providing hotel standard accommodation. The shrewd property people are wanting to present their properties in the best possible light, to get the phones ringing and the properties filled. The situation is not much different on the sales side of property as well.
The Landlord Photography product offering has always been driven by the demands of our client base and we continue to evolve to remain a key strategic partner for our growing client base.
New Franchisees get a lot of value from talking to more established Franchisees. Below is a chat between Paul Darvell (the Founder of Landlord Photography) and Piotr Urban (The Franchisee for Slough & West Drayton). Piotr shares his thoughts on the business.
Let’s get one thing straight right away, no previous photography experience is required. In fact, it is preferred if you do not have much experience. That way we can teach you the Landlord Photography was of taking property photos without the risk of old habits creeping in.
This is a perfect opportunity for full time property people who want an additional lucrative income stream. Our ideal Franchisee is a Property Person who is a people person. A love of meeting people is essential for this opportunity
This is your own business within the supportive Landlord Photography family. As we operate exclusive territories, their is no competition between Franchisees. That creates a supportive environment as the more we collectively build the brand, the easier it is for all of our Franchisees. As it is your business, it is down to you to build that business (with our help). The key skills are: People, Networking, Resilience, Common Sense and a Sense of Humour. Everything else can be taught.
If you have the above skills then we can offer you a fun and rewarding business.
It is down to you to build your business (with the support of us), so the rewards are only limited by your own imagination and hard work.
We ask for a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week to this business, making it ideal for full time property people. However, there is nothing to stop you working full time on this business and even building a team.
Within one year we would expect a Franchisee doing the minimum 20 hours per week to be earning in excess of £35,000p.a. However, if you want to build a bigger income, we will work with you to help you achieve it.
We do not charge any fixed monthly fees to our Franchisees. We only want to make money when you are making money. Therefore, it is in all of our interests to build your business as big as you want it to be.
For established Franchisees with a proven track record within our business, additional territories can be made available (subject to availability) so that you can continue to grow your business.
I have no idea.
As mentioned above, the key skills are: People, Networking, Resilience, Common Sense and a Sense of Humour. Everything else can be taught.
If you want to find out if this could be right for you, get in touch and let’s have a chat. There is no pressure or selling of Franchises, we only want to bring people who are the right fit into our family. So get in touch for a no obligation chat to find out more.
The most important factor for us is to get the right people into the business. We are not interested in making money from selling franchises. Therefore, we have kept the initial Franchise Fee low. The fee is £2,995 and covers buying your exclusive territory, your training, your business pack, our full support during your setup period and initial marketing. On top of that you will need to buy some equipment. However, most franchisees will already own a lot of what is needed. Expect to spend up to £1,500 on the setup costs. However, once we speak we can give you a more accurate figure before you decide to proceed.
We can help you work out your exact funding requirements needed to setup your Landlord Photography business. There are many options for funding this investment and it does not have to come out of your own pocket. Government backed loans such as www.startuploans.co.uk/how-to-apply/ are available to new businesses such as these.
